The Oasis is a luxury resort hotel built amidst one of Sri Lanka's most eco friendly areas - Hambantota. Visitors will be able to go on excursions cultural, archaeological or wildlife sites. The Bundala Bird Sanctuary is just half an hour away and the Yala National Park and Udawalawe Wildlife Park are 90 minutues drive. Trips are organised to Kataragama, Situlpahuwa Rock Temple, Tissamaharama and Kirinda, birthplace of the ancient Sinhalese Kingdom of Ruhuna. Please note that the beach is not advisable for sea bathing as the water is rough.
