Tahkovouri is in central Finland in an area of rolling hills, lakes and forests. It is a well-known ski centre with some of the best downhill skiing facilities in mid-Finland. Cross-country skiing and snow-mobiling are also popular sports. In summer there are abundant water sports, an 18-hole golf course, riding and walks in the surrounding countryside. There is a colourful market and many sights to see in Kuopio, 60kms away. The timeshare apartments are in alpine-style houses or in separate villas.
