This resort is a four-season recreation destination nestled in the western Maine mountains, with both individual log homes and units in the main lodge. The accommodations afford spectacular mountain views, and some units have fireplaces. Springtime - fishing is some of the best in the Northeast. Summer - moderate temperatures, the evenings perfect for sleeping after white-water rafting, hiking, boating, ATV riding, or mountain biking. Fall - a spectacular palette of colors ushers in the hunting seasons. Winter - a wonderland for cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling on hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Downhill skiing is within an hour's drive. One-bedroom units have air conditioning.
